As the first craft distiller in Alberta, we embrace the same pioneering spirit as Guy Weadick when he dreamed up the iconic Calgary Stampede. Our Certified Farm Distillery uses traditional methods to produce premium Alberta rye and barley that we hand-harvest and integrate into every one of our small-batch artisanal spirits. This process is the cornerstone of our farm-to-glass philosophy.
Our approach is grounded in our agricultural roots and proud western heritage, and every time our 100-year-old farming equipment tills the soil we are reminded of the importance of staying connected to the land, animals, and each other. In a rocks glass, muddle together the sugar and bitters. Once combined, add your Stampede Canadian Rye Whisky and stir till smooth. Fill the glass with large cubes and finish it off by rubbing your orange peel around the rim of the glass, dropping it in once fragrant. Giddy up.
